All thats keeping my interest right now is teachin my wife to hunt. She really likes her new coyote rifle. Every couple needs a common hobby

Who made that AR? My son shoots a DPMS while I shoot an oldie Colt A1 bone stock. I prefer a wider view scope to keep a better eye on those dogs when they run towards ya, but likely your eyes are better than mine.

That one is a Bushmaster, Carbon 15 .223 with a Bushnell Red Dot with no magnification. At 200 yards, the dot blocks out a 30" satellite dish that I tape targets to. I'm going to put a 4x magnifier on it for her. She's good with it. Has a 4" pattern at 100 yds, using a rest. She took out 26 of 30 clays with her 20 ga Remington that day, too. She loves shooting!
The DPMS are nice, I would love to have your Colt. Drag em in the sand and soak em in water, they will still shoot every time.

I'm gonna take up (get ready....) golfing.... Oh boy!

Playing golf is great.... I mean, other than bowling, what other sport can you drink beer, toke on a stogie - and still be considered a athlete!!??

Can't toke on a stogie while bowling in Iowa now with the no smoking law. Not sure about it when golfing. I guesss I'll find out! Quit smokin cigarettes 15 years ago, but those Lil' Cherry Swisher Sweets are.... sweet! I treat myself to one now and then.
I'm kinda lookin forward to it, as long as it does'nt cut into our boating time!

I know Colorado is being blasted with a bad snow storm but Florida is in the 80's thru next week. Trees and plants think it's already Spring and pollen is real heavy.
