I wish.
However, I won't have any more of that pesky work and job crap getting in the way of my river time.
After over 40 years of Coast Guard and Sheriff's Law Enforcement duties, it's now time to get on the water under MY terms.
And all you kids, get the hell off of my lawn.
One of my first issues is looking into trading up my toon. Looking for a little more power, so might be moving up to the Sun Tracker 22' XP3, tritoon with a 150 Verado. Unless someone can talk me into a similar South Bay.

Awesome! Here's to you!
You've done a great service in protecting people and taking care of some nasty business, when needed!
3 years, 6 months, 3 weeks, 6 days, 4 hours and 10 minutes, (as from now) And I'll be joining ya! Not that I'm counting down....
Congrats Buddy!

Congratulations on your retirement.
I hope you enjoy yours as much as I'm enjoying mine.
As for the toon? I like my SunCatcher with the Yamaha. I've seen some tri-toons from them with large hp motors and at least one guy who has one likes his.
Hopefully, you'll appreciate having this to hang up.

Congratulations
I know the feeling..... I retired last Thursday ( April 30 ) after 41 years in the Mil Aero defense electronics industry as a Sales Manager...... Already here at the lake !!! I've almost forgotten what day of the week it is, or if I even care...
I had the countdown to retirement app on my phone for over a year!
Enjoy !!!

Congratulations Alan... good for you.... i'm looking at June 1 of next year or possibly Oct. 1 of next year... just depends on if we do a kitchen remodel.... In any event, after 32 years at the same place, I can almost start to see the light at the end of the tunnel...

Congrats, BoatCop! And now that you're a man of leisure, I hope you'll post more often. I've learned a LOT from you! I tip a beer in your honor.

The greatest part of retirement is taking trips while kids are still in school. Roads are clear. no rugrats disturbing your enjoyment
