New in Alabama

#1 Post by Itsabouttime » Tue Jan 08, 2013 6:39 pm

Hello to all and thanks for allowing me to join this forum. After several years of thinking about a pontoon we finally own one. Recently bought a 2006 Starcraft fishing pontoon. Mercury 60 Bigfoot with very low hours. Can't wait to get it on the lake.

Itsabouttime.... welcome to the group... our pontoon is also rigged for fishing... you and I may not be the fastest toons out on the lake, but we'll sure as heck be some of the most comfortable fishermen out there.... don't forget to post some pics of your boat...

I have been reading on here for a bit now. Only experience with the boat so far other than cleaning at seats was the 50 mile trip home the day I bought it. Perfect timing first pull was straight into Friday 5:00 PM traffic.

This is our new (to us pontoon) and the 2004 Hemi Durango. When my wife asked when I would have time to use it I told her "Its about time" we take time for us. So our time is coming.
