I think you'll be fine. My buddy runs a high powered head unit, and the JBL powered 10" using 2 Optima red tops and he has zero trouble.

Thanks. Still too damn cold to really do much else
Hopefully in the next week or two it will start to warm up. Just ordered all of my stainless steel hardware for mounting my seats, cleats, ladder, pedestals, etc. I calculated at a big box store and it was going to be over $130 for the nuts / bolts!!!! Ended up ordering online for less than $70. The people that have said that the hardware adds up fast are definitely correct!

Methinks you'll love your Opti. I had a big one in my jet boat a while back and it was a beautiful motor.
Your mount height looks pretty good to me (for starters). Seems like I was always experimenting with that later though. Maybe you can get a look at somebody with the same boat at one of the marinas. Now is a good time for that research if you are moved to do that much work, as they are all on trailers in storage.

Awesome, the engine height looks right to me also... But once you run it you'll be able to tell for sure... Congrats on all the good progress

Next question. I think I know, but I want to run it buy some fuel tank people. This tank was setup for the EPA regulations. There is a vent and diurnal valve.
Right here is where the fuel line comes in.

Right next to the main fill hose is this. It's located under the deck and hard to access. One hose comes out through the top of the deck (vent hose I believe). The other end runs to the other end of the tank (next pic).

The big silver piece with the line coming in (left side) is what is coming from the other picture piece with 2 hoses. I believe this is the Diurnal valve? The small 90* fitting I believe is the actual pickup tube for the gas line to go to the motor. Does this seem right?

Thanks. I'm fairly confident, but like the reassurance. I assume yours is similar too?
Here's the diagram I found on Attwood's site. There's 2 types. Pretty sure mine originally had the canister (based on the ones we've seen at the marina for sale), but I'm not going to do the canister setup.

Mine has the filler line, the vent line, and then the line that I believe goes to the engine. There is also a line that connects from the front of the tank to the rear of the tank. 99.9% sure it is this setup, which is what I’m planning on running it like other than the inlet valve.

Got a few more goodies in. Planning on getting some good work done this weekend. So far, it’s really been just purchasing the stuff. Now to actually install some things!

Didn't get as much done today as I was hoping, but we didn't get out there until late to work on the boat.
Got the fencing mounted 100%. Needed to wait for the first part of the furniture to make sure the curve of the fencing and the furniture were going to work. Got all of the corners aligned and matched for excellent gate opening space. That was somewhat of a pain, but got it done. front Starboard furniture is mounted along with the console base. Also got the vinyl to carpet threshold mounted and the main engine harness routed. Here's the only pic I have from today. Still need to get the rear port furniture installed, gate stops installed, ladder installed, cleats installed, corner caps completed, and the captains chair / pedestal installed. Hopefully the single person stuff can be done tomorrow. Found out that the stainless steel bolt galling issue is apparent. Had a few bolts/nuts go haywire on me, but nothing too bad.

Fuel tank question:
Use the filler and the 5/8" vent line. If you're application doesn't have places for any other open lines simply cap them, you'll be fine.
Tip for SS fasteners: Keep a bar of soap handy. Scrape the bolt across the soap once before installing, it stops the nylocs from seizing up. You'll find you have more trouble when using power tools, it gets the nylon just warm enough some times to seize.
