Unwrapped the new carpet and what do we find?

Yup, a hole punched all the way through. Thankfully I only have an 18' deck so I can cut the first two feet off the roll!

Rolled it the rest of the way out and tried to pull out some of the kinks

Got it all glued down and rolled out as smooth as we could get it, we only had one plywood seam that showed a little.

Test fit of one of the new front benches.

Hope to get the aluminum edging straightened and polished tonight so I can install that, then continue on with putting the furniture together and laying everything out. It's starting to come together!

Got the console, steering, and controls mounted, still waiting on the sliding seat pedestal. Still have to cut in the gauges, stereo, switches, etc.

Wondering what the best way to clean the PontoonStuff plastic base units might be? They're getting pretty dirty from installing all the accessories. Thanks! I'll post up a few pics tomorrow after installing the LEDs under the seats.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finding out the hard way to never order from iboats.com if you want something quickly! I ordered a Wise adjustable height sliding pedestal seat mount online last Saturday and upgraded to 2nd day UPS air for a reasonable price. Figured I'd get it on Wednesday or Thursday at the latest and I could install it at the lake before I re-wet the 'toon on Friday

They still haven't even shipped the dang thing! They're tracking says it has been sent to the warehouse for shipping and I should see it next Monday. Hmm, not counting Saturdays that will be 5 working days! How in the heck is that 2nd day air??

The captain is going to have to sit on a lawn chair for the boat parade this Saturday and he isn't too happy about that!

Got an email from iboats that my Wise pedestal mount will be delayed another 2 weeks as they are waiting for Wise to build it! Hmm, how does it go from in-stock to direct order from the manufacturer??

I called iboats and cancelled the order, then went to gandermountain.com and verified with their online help that they had 100+ in-stock ready to ship. Ordered it up and it will be here next Monday. That's what I get for trying to save $10!

Amazon carries them. I have the Prime membership. Free two day shipping on almost everything I buy. Sorry you're stuck without one for the holiday weekend.

Since you are in WV I think overtons could have got it to you in a couple of days as well....

Have to love the communication skills of some companies. I got the email from iboats that the seat would be delayed and I would receive another email when ready to ship. Cancelled the order and ordered from Gander, problem solved right? Nope, I got a call later in the day from iboats that they couldn't cancel the order because it had already shipped! Still haven't received an email that it shipped, and now it was too late to cancel the order from Gander because they actually had their act together and shipped same day. So I ended up with two of them on the front porch! Oh well, a few more dollars lost on shipping one back!

Anyway, got the pontoon wet again and all went well. The new LED under deck lights were a huge hit, had several other cabin owners inquiring about the install.

Here's what they look like lit up, sorry for the crappy phone pics!

I really liked the brightness of the LED bow lights from PS, you really can see them well. Still have to work on the interior LEDs and a couple other tidbits like hooking up gauge lights and finding out how to clean the scuffs off the seat bases from PS.

Thanks for all the help with this rebuild!
