Well they say More and Bigger is better.
I use Four, sorry you can't see them, but they are EZ Fender clamps.

Ok next simple question. If you tie a knot on the end of the fender rope that implies you leave the fenders there all the time?
If so do you tow like this too? I will be pulling the boat in and out of the water and towing it to various lakes every time we take it out. Not sure if I want the fenders slapping the sides of the boat going down the highway. Even speeding across the lake at close to 40 mph it seems like they could beat things up.
Thoughts?

On a 25 footer, I recommend 4 per side. Just like Sully did. The thumbscrews won't back out any more. I am now cold sealing the last few threads. If anyone has any Pre-2015 models, a little dab of JB weld between the last 2 threads will keep them from acking out. Works better than pressing them. And if you want to take them out to mount a camera in place or something, you can get them out with a small pair of pliers and a rag between the teeth. I always recommend using a 3/8" fender line. The thicker the better. But 1/2" is kinda over kill on our pontoon boats. If you need them, just give me a yell. I'll get them out to you right away.

Happy to help out,

Ya, that's a great pic! I have it plastered all over the place. Well, Denise told me to take it off the bedroom ceiling! Darn it!
Thanks for the pic. I'll take all I can get, I appreciate them, very much...

Thanks very much for all the feedback. I will definitely be buying a few pairs of these. Going to wait until I actually get the boat to decide if I want 3 or 4 per side.
