Help sourcing small DC motor.
Hi all. I've been struggling to find a replacement motor for my Peltier type fridge on my Premier. I've scoured the web and haven't had any luck. I was hoping someone on here could give me some direction in finding a replacement. The cooler is an Igloo Kool Mate 56. It is no longer made and I spoke with Igloo and they basically told me they no longer stocked the part as the product was discontinued. They had no clue where to find one as they were a specialty item sourced from China. The cooler itself has an irregular shape and the fiberglass "kitchen" area on my pontoon has a cutout exactly matching the irregular shape. All the newer models are rectangular and would require cutting more height out of the hole and leaving large gaps on the side. The cooler is one of the best parts of the pontoon as it can easily hold a case of beer and still have plenty of room left over for kid drinks. Its wired to a house battery on an ACR so I can run it all day and never worry about getting home. Attached are pics of the motor and a clip of the only picture of the cooler in its cut out I could find. The arrow points to the irregular corner somewhat obscured by the shadow. Thanks for any advice.

That motor may be the one. I've found that and a skingco.com page literally dozens of times in my searches. I can't seem to take it to the next step with my searches and find the referenced motor in stock. all my searches seem to point me to mining equipment. Any help is definitely apreciated.

Re: Help sourcing small DC motor.
Ok, I'm gonna assume its for a fan of some sort. My guess is to blow air over the hot-side fins of the peltier junction module.
In that case, you may be able to make another fan work. I wouldn't stress too much over matching the fan exactly, just as long as it blow air over the fins, you should be fine.
Check out this link, You should be able to find a fan to suit. You will of course have to figure out how to mount it, but they are light and it should not be too much of a stretch.
