Dock Lights
I'm thinking of adding some lights to the front of my boat for those late night returns from the water. Any suggestions? Led or Halogen? Brand? This will be a DIY project also, so any suggestions on installation would be helpful too.

Re: Dock Lights
LED for sure! I have been thinking of doing the same thing, and from my experience LED is the only way to go if you are using 12 volt battery power.

Re: Dock Lights
LED is the only way to go, its less power draw and a lot better lighting, i added some to mine 3 years ago and its much better than halogen. i ordered mine off of amazon, i went with this type and hung then under the front deck

Re: Dock Lights
Absolutely LED, we don't have dock lights on the pier so ass not to draw bugs in, on the no moon nights they are vary nice for docking. mine can swivel down, nice to illuminate the water at the dock to

Re: Dock Lights
I put a pair these on the front of my UTV. Unbelievable the amount of light they produce. Bright, wide and no 'hot spots' Quite the bargain at around $50 for the pair.
