Harris Solstice 240

#1 Post by D.L. » Thu Feb 18, 2016 2:14 pm

Sold the old toon and ordered my new Harris Solstice 240 with 200 Verado last week. I had the opportunity to upgrade to the Pro Verado 200 and decided not to because of price $3500. $2000 on motor and 1500 on upgraded toon package. Hoping I didn't make mistake there since the pro also came with power steering. Is one of the motors better than the other? Have about 6 weeks to wait and the week that has gone by so far has taken forever! Gonna be a long wait but worth it I think. :nana

Congrats on the new purchase! We have a 2013 Solstice 220 and absolutely love it. I can't really speak to the difference between regular verado and the pro, because my only experience is with the Verado 175. 6 weeks is going to seems like 6 years!

Nice toon and I like the color. Looked at a Harris myself but didn't like the local dealership which is now out of business.
Waiting will be painful but the reward will be tons of fun on the water :nana

Welcome to the Solstace Club! I've got the 2014 220. Love it. Fit and finish is terrific!

I opted to order the power assisted steering, and it IS nice! The boat really drives like a car. I will say, don't hold your breath on a delivery date. Harris disappointed me and was 12 weeks late on the original delivery date.

You're in for a fantastic summer!!

Fair winds and following seas!

There is a huge difference with power steering, I will never go without power steering. I can drive it with my finger (almost)
The 200 Verado pro is the same motor as the 300 Verado pro, just a tuning difference in the ECM. For $850 you could have sent the ECM off to simon motor sports and he would have made it a 300 for you :)

Congrats on the new boat, it is nice.
