1994 johnson 90 hp

hello, having trouble finding proper rpm range for a 1994 90 hp Johnson v4 2 stroke. I'm getting conflicting rpms from different marinas , from 5000 red line w.o.t to 5750 rpm tried the search engine, google ect Help? thank in advance

Same as my 98 ,4500 to 5500 with 5000 being where the rated HP is at. If you can get it propped to run 5000 or a bit less at WOT you should be good.

It should be around 5000-5500.. 100%..

Most of the 2 strokes of that vintage were 5500 rpm motors.
