Perfect! I just got done welding up new guides on the trailer for my new Manitou. They will hug the insides of the 2 outer toons and cradle both sides of the center toon. I got the blueprints of the hull from Manitou for the spacing. Can't wait to see the boat on it. Just days away!

Looks good. I adjusted mine so I could slip my hand between the post and the pontoon.

Love this post. I need something like this. Most of the time I'm loading up solo, and the damn stern swings crooked.

Not to sure about how good these will turn out, but I just snapped pics of the guides I put on the Premiers trailer. These were "rough Water" guides I bought from Overtons, about $120/pair. Work very good. I wanted bunk guides on the new trailer for the Manitou. Last pics you'll see of the Premmie. Her new owner will be picking her up before the weekend.

Here is just a quick pic of the new Manitou on the new trailer. I need to adjust the guides a little more when I get the boat home.

How do you keep your pontoons looking like a mirror? I tried this with White Diamond and a buffer and it was a disaster.

On the Premier? I polished them with Sharkhide polish, then Sharkhided protected them. That was back in 2012. I went over the endcaps last summer, with good old tripoli and white diamond, then Sharkhided them.

Let us know how they work out for you Sami. Geez I just noticed your location. I'll be staying overnight in your area tomorrow night at the Holiday Inn at the Mooresville exit. Driving to Hilton Head for a sales conference.

I built my own trailer and started with 4 posts sleeved with 4" PVC pipe and that worked ok until a day with HEAVY crosswind at the landing. I then modified it into 8' bunks with strips of old pickup box liner and that did the trick! As long as I get the nosecones on it CAN'T go sideways in a heavy crosswind. I set them up TIGHT also, I only have a 1" gap between the guide bunks and the outer toons chen its perfectly centered.
