Triton pontoon separating

Has anyone seen the center pontoon on a HARRIS floteboat separate about an inch---- 3 to 4 ' in from the motor ? Suggestions noticed it while swimming while Under boat lift

Never seen it. But have noticed more online leaking complaints on Harris toons than all the other brands combined.

They're too large a pontoon manufacturer to have such problems.

I wish I could check mine and compare it to yours, but I left my Harris at the marina. We're going back on a week or so. What model and length is yours?

have you contacted Harris? That's a pretty serious issue!

Is that the center toon I am looking at? How does it seperate in the middle, shouldn't it be welded. This is indeed a serious issue!!! I just don't see how that can even happen. Do you have an pics from farther away showing the damage?

from that 'close up' picture, it looks like the seam was never welded. ????

I can't tell for sure, but that looks like just the riser that mounts the deck to the toon, not the toon itself. If that is the case, then i wouldn't worry about it. That is not a watertight area of the boat construction anyways.
