It appears that none of the plugs have any fire. Nor is there any appearance of an a/c or d/c pulse at the pair of red/yellow - black/yellow coming into any of the coils that drive the spark plugs.
All the fuses check good. Battery voltage is good. Crank speed is good. I have no access to any sort of wiring diagram and it looks near impossible to trace back the red/yellow wiring. A large bundle of the red/yellow come to what looks like a test harness.
There is also what looks like some sort of 2x3" box with cooling fins sitting in the bottom that may have some of the red/yellow wires going to it. Someone out there shed any light on this no fire issue. F225 Yamaha 2007 year model.

Don't shoot me for suggesting this but check your safety lanyard. Even if it looks like it is seated properly, remove it and re-clip and jiggle a bit.

Lanyard?? Motor cranks very well. Just keeps cranking. No start due to no spark plug spark, no high voltage out of coils and no apparent input voltage to the coils. Tested two separate inputs. If the lanyard was not clipped in the only thing that will happen is a loud, high pitched buzzing.

I'm researching the CDI now. Not sure where it is on my motor but looks like the prices run the gamut.

CDI. Capacitor Discharge Ignition. Found a huge amount of none helpful info roaming the net. So where is it on our F225 2006 Yamaha outboard? How do I test it? I will say one thing, those Japanese do know how to build a boat engine!
Found out that at least two plugs coming off different ignition coils have no spark. Did not check the rest. Also discovered that the input of primary side of the coil is a pulsed a/c and may not be able to be measured with a standard digital multimeter like a Fieldpiece SC56. So I'm assuming that since no high voltage spark is at two different spark plugs coming from two different coils that something is preventing a primary signal since there is no attempt at the motor firing up during continuous crank.
Looking at some of the diagrams and parts pix, there are things under the flywheel for the ignition system. Taking the flywheel of this beast off looks like no shade tree task with the monster nut on top (maybe 1 7/16" 200 ft lb torque)!
Surely one of the boat surgeons here has some experience with this.

Is it in neutral and not in gear. Mine will crank but not fire if it's in gear.
If the lanyard is not in place it will not even crank.
Used to be a 2013 Sylvan Mirage Cruise 8520 LE powered by a Merc 50 Bigfoot.
Now we have a 2019 Sylvan Mirage 8522 DLZ LE powered by a Yamaha VF150..
2010 F-150 4.6L to haul it around.

In gear! Looks like it is but is not. Just the little things. Last boat loading up the ramp onto trailer did not pull it all the way back to neutral maybe. Joy had just power washed the inside of the boat - water in the lanyard safety switch. After using air to dry it out started right up. There was a console breaker tripped also. Man, I was sure not looking forward to pulling the flywheel on this beast!
This boat electronics can eat your ass.
Thanks for all the ideas.

Alright! I pulled my flywheel to replace my stator. It's not too horrible. I used ratchet strap around the fly wheel to keep it from spinning and air impact she popped right off. Granted it took me awhile to figure out this method.
