I need a cover for my Sweetwater

#1 Post by guy48065 » Sun Sep 11, 2016 7:08 am

Sweetwater is a popular brand according to the brand poll. Anyone know of a place that has patterns for mooring covers? I have a 96 Challenger 180EX with a playpen 8' by 13'-3".

Are they different enought that one brand won't fit another?

Well...yeah. Are you saying every cover is a custom, there are no patterns, and I'll need to take my boat in someplace to have one made?

That's what he is saying in that "Fitted" covers are just that fitted by local shops... There are universal covers but they are just that universal....

My local canvas woman came to my house and took measurements when the boat was on the trailer. Went to her shop and made it out of Sunbrella. Came back to my house and made final adjustments and installed all the female snaps to match the male ones installed at the factory. All for about $800.

There are shops that go the extra step of making reusable patterns so others can just call & order.
Being that my toon is a 96 I'll probably need to find someone in business a while.
