Seat bases
I bought seats from pontoon stuff and was wondering if the bases should be bolted together before being screwed to the deck? I put them loosely on the deck, and butted them together with the cushions on and had about a 1 to 2 inch gap between them. Any info greatly appreciated.TIA

Re: Seat bases
i put mine in place and left a gap between mine its worked out fine for the last 6 years, the slight gap helps the deck drain
If it aint broke your not having enough fun

Re: Seat bases
No pictures yet, just thought I read somewhere to bolt like the lounger on the end that isn't supported by the fencing.

Re: Seat bases
I think the look would be cleaner if you bolted them together. just my thoughts I would

Re: Seat bases
I think if I bolt them all together the cushions would be too tight, I agree it would look cleaner, but was just wondering how everybody else has done it.

Mine are just screwed to the floor; no connections together at all.

Re: Seat bases
Mine are just bolted to the floor as well, not to each other. I agree that bolting them together would make the seat bottoms hard to open.
