Pulled it out of the slip today and brought it back home. All went well there.
I put my ear to the toon and shoved back n forth just for the heck of it and i think i can hear some water in there..
It cant be much as the toon floats evenly and high, so it doesnt appear while in the water that there is much in there, But non the less, there shouldnt be any...
I can hear about the same kind of water sound on both toons...
Im sure Tracker will fix it cause its still under warrentee.
I notice there are 2 plugs up on the top of each toon. One towards the front, and the other about half way back.
Question. Does it hurt anything to open those up? I was thinking i might be able to try and syphon some out just to see if there is indeed some water in there. Plus if i heard a wooosh of air when i opened them, then maybe that would tell me if they are air tight.
If it's ok to open them, then do i need to apply any pressure back into them when i seal back up?
Also, are the toons all seperate sections, or baffled? Also, would having a plug welded into the bottom of the back of the toon drain out the water from the whole toon, or would a hole have to be made in each section?
Ive got all winter to figure it out..
