#1 Post by Tom Krol » Sun Apr 09, 2017 10:52 pm

Anybody ever try this?

Looks like something my girls would like much better then the port potty's we saw in boat store.

Was thinking of buying it, anyone try it?

Interesting Tom. I have never seen this before.

I can't think of anything negative other than you'd need to make sure the battery was charged and it's a bit pricey.

It would have been nice if they would have indicated how many flushes the battery could do before recharging. Really great idea. Looks like it can fit into the changing room without any problem on my boat. Could replace the standard port-a-potty on mine.

I don't think the battery will be an issue at all, same as on my hose rewind reel which probably takes a lot less juice. Looks like 12 V so it should run off the boat battery. Cartridges look like they cost about a buck and a half a crap. FIL had a rule, he who uses the john must clean it, never got used once.

lol, it's a larger version of a diaper genie! If you've had kids in the last 10 years with disposable diapers then you remember pushing the used diaper in something very similar to this unit, then twisting the top to cinch up the bag inside and keep the smell out. Then when it was full, you end up with the long chain of diapers.

Sorry, but $450 is really too pricy for me....

I'm happy to have on board this $25 ( and free shipping with Prime) Reliance Hassock port a potty for emergency use. Hasn't been used yet.

If anyone needs to use the facilities, it they'll give me a little notice I can just run by our lake house and let'em go there. If we're 10 miles across the lake, we can drop by my cousin's house.

If someone needs to do #1, we have a 16,000 acre potty. Jump in.
