its got every thing i wanted, GPS chart plotting, the lakevu maps, 3 D structure scan, plus temperature and a lot of other bells and whistles, i have been reading up on the CHIRP scan and that may be of real use for me, i cat fish so any thing that helps separate a cluster of fish is real good

once you get a side scan/structure scan unit you will NEVER go back to a regular unit. I picked up a Humminbird 998c HD at blowout prices 2 years ago and the Side scan finds me schools of Crappie in a hurry. You can cover a lot of water when you can "see" 100' off each side!
