I agree that it's a pretty cool concept, but I wonder how practical it is.

I notice their website shows it with 115 HP motor. No way that's even close to enough. That thing has to weigh A LOT. The different levels of floor are tripping/toe stubbing hazards and there just seems to be a lot of sharp angles, sharp corners, tight spaces, etc. I'm thinking this is one of those things that looks better on paper than in the realities of day to day use.

I am with Steve about places where you can trip or snag a line.
Coming from salt water and boating in remote areas I always look at safety issues first..
I would also not want to tackle maintenance/repair issues. However, I am sure some folks will think its' cool and shell out the cash for one.

If the design is implemented well in the real world and not full of flaws, I suspect that they will do well with their target demographic. I see it as a niche product for folks who want a big, tow-able party platform where high performance is not important - but the cool factor is.

Trip hazards aside, that is full on get pulled over and ticketed i like concept and anything more than 115 would probably rip it apart, that is alot of torque leverage if you hit a wave at 30 mph...
