What is that called? I have been searching for this and cannot find it. I have a 95 Party Barge 21 and the trim is gone. I have found all kinds of rubber trim online but none of them are what I need.

Hello all,
Hopefully everyone is on the lake and enjoying sun & fun.
I finally have some pics of progress on the tritoon build. These are of the lifting strakes I put on. They are 5052 Aluminum .125 thick. I did them 6" x 6". TIG Welding 30 year old crusty aluminum tubes, took a lot of prep work. Also another challenge was dealing with all the dents and crush points from being cribbed up over the years. I used the extruded box tubes clamped to the M-Brackets as my zero point for measuring points on the lifting strakes. We tried other ways, but the tubes themselves have lots of distortion from being cribbed up. We focused on making sure the running surface was the same height between both sides. I did stringer welds of 6" every 20" on center. Still love my Miller Sycrowave 350! She may not be as fancy as some of the newer welders...but she is solid and dependable!

Re: 1989 Sun Tracker Party Barge 24DL into Tritoon build
Got the Tritoon build splashed over the holiday weekend. With the 90hp Johnson V4 she came with, GPS 24mph with 14x13 3 blade prop. Only the wife and I onboard with 30 gallons of fuel. The boat jumps up and out of the water quickly and smooth. The lifting stakes seem to be doing their job.
With 8 people, 1 small dog and 3 coolers full she still GPS 23mph. I do not have a full interior quite yet.
I have an issue with prop blow out at 18-19mph, to get into the 20's is a delicate tweaking of the throttle.
The prop is a Michigan Wheel Vortex 14 x 13.
VERY VERY HAPPY.

Good deal!
That's what plenty of strake will do. Jumping on plane with a 90 is great! How low is your motor mounted?

The motor is mounted as low as possible. The prop is ventilating or spinning on the hub, not sure which. When throttling up the boat, she takes off really strong till 18-19mph, then the prop seems to lose it's bite. The rpm shoots to the moon and boat quits accelerating. I back off the throttle a tad and things settle down back there. I start to delicately add more throttle till about 24-25mph and she lets go again. This is with 0 trim by the way. I haven't seen WOT, because the prop loses the bite. I ordered a new AL prop to test, the original was dinged up. I ordered a Turning Point Hustler 3 Blade 14 x 13. The original was a Michigan Wheel 14 x 13.

Does sound like the prop is letting go. Next time you have people onboard have some move to the back to see if you gain anymore trim with that 20" lower unit. When I was running a 20" 150 I dropped it 2 1/2" on a jackplate, before I even splashed it. A toon responds to trim, but their bows won't lift high without big HP to hold them up. When you trim up without the bow rising like a bassboat the prop just swings to the surface and ventilates. That is more of an issues running on strakes, because your probably running 6" higher at the stern due to lift.
If you can even find a used manual jackplate to try out. Mount it so most of the adjustment is down from the height you're at now. Start dropping it down until you stop gaining speed with trim. Just guessing the reason you only seen a few mph drop in speed with all those people onboard was due to the prop being lower in the water.

Re: 1989 Sun Tracker Party Barge 24DL into Tritoon build
Some updates on the project Tritoon. I still have bad ventilation issues with the new prop.(Turning Point Hustler 14 x 13). I can spin 5500 rpm WOT, but only getting 19-20mph GPS. I'm constantly fighting to get the prop bite the water. I currently have the motor buried deep, my cavitation plate is 2" below the bottom of transom. I have manual trim on this old 90HP Johnson. I've left the trim pin at it's lowest setting, 0 trim, you could call it. I've tried to raise the trim but that exacerbates the ventilation issue. My thoughts and BMAC hopefully can chime in, is the negative angle of the strakes on the center toon is trapping air and funneling it to the prop. I've noticed Harris does not have their strakes go all the way back to the transom anymore. So this morning, I decided to cut off the last 3ft. of strakes on the center toon.
The boat rides high and wonderfully smooth. We had one rough day on Lake St. Clair over the weekend, 3-4ft. with heavy cross chop and she comfortably ran through them. I look forward to putting a 200-250hp on her. However, I want to make sure the water isn't getting aerated by the strakes. It would be the same conversation, different motor

Finally getting back to having some time to post again! We've been using the heck out of the boat! We love it!
Painted the fence rails gloss Black this year and redid the fence panels in Metallic Black. Also got new furniture installed late last year. This summer we put on the SeaStar Pro Hydraulic Steering...what a steering dream! I found a blown up Mercury 200hp 2 Stroke...we swapped a good used powerhead. While she was apart I installed CCMS(Chris Carson Marine Service) Reeds and Stuffers. So far with a chewed up Mercury Black Max Prop, 14.5 x 19P, that came with the motor, she has consistently run 39mph GPS and a best of 41.6mph! , with a full tank of gas (38gallons) and myself & Wifey! I'm on the rev limiter @ 5600RPM without any real trim up. So we are going to try some different props. I started underskinning, but have not finished that last 4ft. of the back of the boat. I can still feel the water smacking those crossbeams. Hopefully with some motor height adjusting, props and finishing the underskinning, she will find another 3-4mph.
