I would generally vote no unless I could be persuaded by some explanation of what type of advertising would be run and how it would be displayed. I spend time reading forums for good info, not to have any products pushed. I'm curious why Mike would even entertain something like that??

Money for free bee's for Us, maybe fund a get together or maybe to cover some of the money he's been putting out for years and the work it takes to keep this site up and running.

But it will still be the same forum and if you wanted a toon from them at a discount price, it could be done.

Mike could have just done this without asking us a thing as he owns the site and it's on his server.

But he didn't, he asked us and most of us agreed as long as they understand if they don't like anything here, they know where the door is out.

Like I said before I love to see company's, saying here try our product and tell us what you think, instead of ad crap, I like to hear a report from a few of our members, telling the pro's and con's and weather or not they would buy or recommend it to a friend.

I agree w/ this 100%. ^^^^

I would also like the option for Forum Hats, T's, Coozies, etc. that can be used on my Toon.

well im not here too much (been busyer than a 1 armed paper hanger with the crabs) But i dont see to much harm in it IF you keep control of the site and we dont start getting banned like that other place, i could always use a free tee shirt or discount toon parts :)

BUT this is the best toon place i have been at and dont want to see it ruined :(

Ok, did some tests to see what you guys think...

Give me some feedback on the two ads up top!

To big? To small?

Is the changing NIVI ad to flashy or distracting?

No payments have been made, I am still trying to see what is going to work for us so everyone is happy..

^^^ I agree. I noticed these right away, but they aren't annoying, and I don't have to click off of them to do anything on the site. Good set up :thumbsup

I have no problem with either of these ads.
To be honest, I didn't notice either of them at first.
