i lost the bid on the last toon at auction and this came up for next week...what you can tell me about this brand and what you all see wrong with it....be my advisors!!! thanks all
i see the dent and it claims water /flood damage.
is this what they call a deck boat?
2 stroke or 4?
speed on the H2o?
length?
quality?
what does the trailer look like that hauls this?

It will be heavier than a pontoon and ride roughter, will have a higher speed as it's a planing hull not a displacement hull like a pontoon.
It uses a reagular boat trailer

If it is a salvage boat I would worry about the motor because it might need major overhaul. The dents can be pulled out if you use suction cups, the lenghth you have to measure with a tape, trailer on that hull is a regular tri hull type trailer, and speed on that boat will be over 30 mph. looks like rosie odonal sat on the bimini
its outer appearance looks in OK shape but without knowing the motors condition or what shape the wood inside the hull look like, its hard to say

I would also be a lil worried about the seats. looks like sun damage from being uncovered. Could crack quickly and need replaced or recovered. Also if it is a flood damage then i would bid as if it did not have a motor due to the fact if the was submerged could be shot along with the electronics in the boat.From what i can see it would be a trihull trailer

are these boats sinkable? i figured maybe it weathered a hurricane was my guess for water/flood stuff.

yes anything is sinkable to some extent if it has a crack or left the plug out of the hull it would sink.

Either one would work. It could have carpet covered 2x6 runners or rubber/nylon type wheels for support.

are you able to go up to the boat and check it out closer. if so go to the motor take the cowl off see if you can turn the motor over. use the starting rope if you can find it also you could take the plugs out. my main consern would be for the motor. maybe bid on it like there was no motor. with it been under water there is no telling the damage to the motor. all the rest is cosmetic damage. oo remember this will ride like a boat not a pontoon as pontoons ride on top of the water and v-hulls cut trough the water

i am at least 16 hours of driving away from it so i cannot go preview it...well i can see the boat being faster when i am going across the lake but when i am in a cove fishing and relaxing will i notice any dif in stability.

I should say that i am not a fan of deck boats. They were made to have the advantages of a V Bottom and a Pontoon combined. In my opinion, they get many of the worst traits of both. This will not ride as well as either a pontoon or a V bottom.

plus remember in a v-hull you have to distribute the weight better cant all get on one side wont be as stable either.

on LOTO, if you're in anything smaller than 38' it doesnt matter what style your hull is, the term stable doesnt exist

I have a deck boat, and it does sit alot lower in the water, so watch out. Damaged several props.
