I forgot to tell you when we were down last week I was looking the toon over and I want your guys opinion.
I know you need to vent the gas cap when running I was told to shut it for winter, which I have done the last two. This is the latest we have gotten down to clean things up and the freakin tank looked like a ball it was so full of pressure. I opened the vent just a little and it took a good 2-3 minutes to release it all. How many of you close the vent for winter and have yours expanded?

yup some good garlic onion shrimp on the toon grill with some tasty beers will cause substantial off gassing.
best not to use the full enclosure.

I have never heard of closing the vent on the fuel tank, therefore I didn't this last winter, and she started right up the first turn of the key, and has been on the lake for about an hour since then. No problems. I would guess as long as your vent cap doesn't stick straight up, they there isn't any way water could get in there, so leave her to breathe. :cheers

There in lies the issue....

hard to see but you can imagine where my cap is with the tank being where it is located aft portside.

Cap is right on top :censored

Hello, my friends!!
Stopped by to see what's been going on.
So has Repetey had enough? Read a post where a newbie dug his claws into him pretty bad.

Yes, I miss Flote, but all of you, including Herb and Lakey, hehe.
The weather has turned nice so toonin has really been on my wish list.
I've been working a lot and been on Facebook too much when home.

Hope everyone is well and getting ready or already enjoying the weather.

ps... didn't mean to hijack the thread but wth!
