Well, I used to force feed them beer and then catch their pee with little tiny urinals.

But I'm too old now and my hands shake too much. Besides, some of the tarantulas would get drunk and crap on me just for fun.

I use this stuff around my house that is really effective, Its called Home Defense I believe and you can get it at lowes or home depot, it is safe to spray around your house as well as inside and before we had a really huge bug problem, and since I have not seen any. You could use it on your boat as well it soaks into whatever surface so spray it all over.

I also use the Home Defense. That stuff works great I spray around the house twice a year and never see a spider any more. The new spray nozzles they have are awesome.
