Mike,
Go on this website that sells yamaha parts and compare the part numbers for both motors so you will know if they fit.

Sorry it has been a while since photos were posted and updates on progress. I have the carbs rebuilt on the yamaha 115. Compression is 130 - 135 on all cylinders, new carpet on after sealing the bow part of the deck with a layer of fiberglass and resin. I have buffed out the fiberglass hull and put a coat of wax on. The seats are all redone and waiting on my buddy to fabricate a bench seat for the port side. I have redone the console as well. We put new yamaha gauges on, and a no feedback rack style steering system with a tilt steering wheel. New fuel lines, new battery, new lights, and new fuel water separator. The fuel tank was pumped and cleaned since the fuel was like black dirt. We started running out of money since we have put 4,000 bucks into it so the fence metal for the rails have not been redone. Maybe next year. Now just waiting for the mechanic to hook up the controls and some wiring and we will be in the water on Sunday! Pictures to come soon.

I am very interested in your completed photos. I am also rebuilding an Ozark deck boat, however I have had to take it all the way down to the bracing under the floor. Mine has a 4.3 lit Cobra engine I/O, which I have not been able to start yet.

I am new to this forum so if i mess up please pardon my mistakes. I am exited to find others that have a ozark deck boat. My daughter and I were looking for a boat. She wanted a boat for freinds to be pulled behind a boat, and I wanted a boat that would hold the family and more. And WALA!! we found a Ozark deck boat on craigslist and I snatched it up. Our new used boat has a 7.8 liter engine that is believed to be a 351 ford engine, and is 24 foot long. It has the words Royal on the back side, fun 'n' sun cruiser on the bottom, and Ozark on back bottom. I will post pics tomorrow if I have time. I consider my self a pretty good googler, but I can not find a ozark boat pic and or one for sale on the net period that looks anything like what we purchased. Glad to have found this forum. Hoping for some replies.

Welcome to the forum. It appears that the replies are not very forthcoming. I was interested in the guy who was redoing his Ozark deck boat, but he has never reposted. I have stripped my boat down to the skeleton & have replaced most of the bracing below. It was pretty rotten. I went ahead & ordered a repair manual for my motor. Cost $38.00. Good luck with your boat.
