New Member - Hello

#1 Post by Rounder610 » Tue Jun 07, 2011 11:02 pm

My wife and I have been shopping pontoon boats for some time now and finally got one.

We had been looking at 20' to 24' boats and came across a great deal on a 28'er.

Oh My, is this thing big.

My prior boat experience has been small speedboats and this is a whole new world.

The boat is a 1990 with a 120hp inboard. The seats have some cracks and the carpet is blue, but we figure we will get this year out of the existing equipment and replace the carpet and furniture this coming winter.

This may seem like a big project to some, but I rehab motorcycles and cars as a hobby and figured this should be no more difficult than any of those projects.

Wish me luck and thanks for having me.

Welcome and congrats...........do a slosh test on the logs to see if you got any water, seems to be an active topic here lately. Then move on to the rehab items.
