Yea if yours fills throught the deck it is different. The 2011 one I saw the gas tank just sits there and you can move it around. Plus the tank fill neck is just above the tank....I also notice that the motor sits way back off the boat. Looks like it would cause stress on the transon when tailering it. I know they know what they are doing and I know they sell allot of boats. But I did not have allot of money and needed to make sure I get one that will last me along time. So far after 8 years, it looks just like the day I got it!!

Enjoy what ever you buy, a pontoon is the way to go. I know I had 2 boats and had to make a choice to let one go. Guess witch one wnet? Yes my 70K Scarab, I kept the pontoon. Nuff said!!

This is my pontoon in the picture, Baby "J" is the name of the boat as I named it after my youngest son Jeffery. The kid in the picture is my oldest son Tyler. The boat beside me is a 1978 model that still runs. Pontoons leak but the guy still uses it every weekend.
My pontoon is a 2003. No matter what brand you get you will love a pontoon boat!!!

damn.... looking at the picture you posted, it looks like the pontoons on the boat next to yours are nearly completely submerged.... is this an illusion from the pic are or is the rear of those toons 70 to 80% submerged? Talk about "low ridin"

No you are right, it is a 78 model and has small pontoons and rides very low in the water....these boats have come a long way since then!!!
