Depth Finders

I am looking for recommendations on depth finders and the best place to mount them on my 'toon. Suggestions?

We have the Humming bird 788 combo unit depth/fish finder GPS combo unit and we absolutely love it.

The back of the log is where most mount the transducer
If it aint broke your not having enough fun

When it comes to mounting the displays, toons have not caught up to the rest of the boating world yet. Not much flat space/area on the consoles to flush mount a display. So, it ends up mounted on the top of the console, right where it obstructs your view the most!
