When I bought my Tundra, I used http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/tundra/ very often..... Then, one day, they upgraded their software. Now, it seems the pages load SO SLOW... Or, maybe because of the HEAVY advertising banners and ads... Not sure why it does that, but it makes it 'not' so good anymore.

I like this type format.... It is simple. There are no ads, no flashing colors, or other things that slow it down.

However, I know that I always type real slow because some people don't read very fast. :lol3

We can leave it be, I just see the efforts to keep spammers from signing up and a new forum software might fix that?

I went through I conversion once, I think I mentioned it, vBulletin has many features and add ons, much better than this.

Phbb does too.

We went with vbulletin.

Willing to help if you need it

the forum I now help manage is socalcatfish.com

spammers was one of the reason we switched, I installed a plugin, and virtually eliminated them,
we will get one every 3 months or so that tries to register but since I manually approve everyone I delete them

Speaking of which, I very much appreciate that you can't use the typical freebie email and whatnot, but once we've been established as real human beings without a spamming agenda, any chance we can switch over and use our other email addresses?

For instance, I had to sign up with my work account email address instead of my personal Gmail account. But, I subscribe to a lot of threads and the notifications get caught in my work spam filter, so I don't always see them.

Any chance of after being established being able to switch back to a different email address?

another thing I do is make their location mandatory,
they either put in their city, region, state, whatever, doesnt matter, as long as it sounds "real" and in the US, everybody else never gets approved
