#1 Post by pepper1126 » Tue May 18, 2010 1:04 pm

Just bought a Perko switch from Bass Pro, can anyone out there tell me what else I need like wires, etc and how to wire the whole thing up, thanks?

If you have a single engine, 2 battery setup, you'll need 2 more battery cables and stainless hardware to mount it.

Here's a diagram:

Mine is wired just like diagram #1 in BMR's post. Here's a picture of mine. I made the little panel to mount it too out of some aluminum angle and a 1"x6".

You run the red (+) from both batteries to the switch and also positive lead from the motor. Then just a cable to connect the ground from 2nd battery to the 1st.
