I got to take the boat out with the little girl, my wife, her brother and his wife, and their 3 kids, and my wifes sister. Great time, and the water was like glass by about 6:00 p.m. here. On Sunday, I got a win from Dale Jr. and that was a pretty good gift too. Then grilled some pork chops & twice baked potatos with my dad & grandpa.
Pretty good weekend for me.

I got a new pair of Brine Costas along with breakfast in bed prepared by my wife, 7 year old son, and my 13 year old nephew!! WHICH WAS FABULOUS!!!
Then it went down hill from there...
Hooked up to the toon - went to pull it out of my shop - well my dumb tail forgot to let the changing room down and yep you guessed it - it caught the roll up door and did some pretty good damage to it.......................
But we went out anyways and had a nice time on the water!!

Well about an hour into the boat ride we hit a submerged something and spun my prop... that ended our day. But I got a 110q YETI cooler so that was pretty cool. I ordered a new prop and had the old one fixed so I have a backup now. I needed to go down a couple inches in pitch so this just got me going on the new prop.

Just in time for a vacation at Lake Cumberland. I wanted a Ford but it would have cost another 15 grand with the same conversion package... special thanks to all of the taxpayers that helped fund the incentives.
Jeez this place is nice. First week I've had off in over five years and we had a great time. Here we are heading up the Cumberland River to my buddies place. We saw only about a dozen boats all day and couldn't have asked for better weather.

Lost my cool daddy last fall. I stopped at my mom's house on Father's Day. Could tell she was feeling a little blue. I gave here a hug and quietly said "Happy Father's Day" ma. I wasn't sure if it was appropriate, but I think we both felt a little better.
