Howdy from texas
Ok so we are new to the forum but not our boat, I was looking for some advice on putting a trolling motor on my deck boat (Tahoe 215) and I stumbled onto the site. So our boat is 3 years old and we've definitely angered the Lake Gods we've had a stretch of bad luck with the boat. Year 1 we went out for the first time and there was no satellite radio a small inconvenience but something we had paid for and wanted bass pro outsourced our boat to car toys and on the way back luckily not under our watchful eye the back cowen ripped off and out of the fiberglass 2 months of fighting insurance companies and so on we had a couple rides left in the year. Year 2 as a result bass pro gave us a free winterazation of the boat at the end of year one so April year 2 we launch and water is flooding the boat it was never winterized so 2 months and a new motor later we were good to go again. Year 2 ended with low lake levels and a chewed up prop, so year 3 has started with a new prop and the realization we must shake this bad juju and finally name the boat along with my wanting a trolling motor, so look forward to using the site and meeting new people.

I open the picture with paint. I then resize it by percent and save it as a different file name until the file size is below 48 kb

Re: Howdy from texas
Welcome C&J. I would say a proper boat naming ceremony should please the lake gods a bit and hopefully end all the sorrows. What lake do y'all plan to be on most often this year?

Re: Howdy from texas
You know we don't have a lot of lake loyalty and its probably just cuz wr are still getting our feet wet ( pun intended ) but we live 15 min from joe pool so we go to the state park to launch, we also like lewisville just don't like the hour plus drive home, we like texoma but that has to b more of a long weekend to be worth it, we went a couple times to kimble bend and made the trip down to whitney which is a great run but the river has been so low the parks dock is out of the water
How bout you where do you take that burnt orange machine of yours ( sorry lil cross town rivalry for the tsip screen name )

You college boys need to settle down!
LOL!
Welcome guys from another Texan, Joe pool scares me because of all the traffic there.
I know you heard about the recent incident there last week.
I know it could happen anywhere but I just haven't had a good time at the ramps there.
And that lake is not known for its bluecat population.
We are waiting for Whitney to come up some also, really want to get on that lake.

I often wonder if Jimmy really did crack corn, and why should I care?
