Sad day in PA!

#1 Post by BigDaddy » Fri Oct 25, 2013 5:50 pm

Just posted my baby for sale on the forum and took it to a local dealer to consign. It doesn't look like I'm going to have a good boating season in 2014. My family made the choice to go camping and sell the toon. I'm certainly going to miss her.... Dang this sucks!

Please tell me your really going camping and not going to the "camp grounds" I drive by the "camp grounds" on the way to the lake. Somehow parking a RV or pitching a tent with "campers" 20ft on both sides of you has become "camping" Other than the fire pits and the trees it looks like parking at Wal Mart. Parking in space 32, listening to space 31 and 33's barking dog's, screaming kids and drunk friends makes me wonder why anyone would spend their weekend like that.

Just saw the boat on the dealer site. It looks real nice and has the famous tracker strakes! Forget camping if you put a real motor on the back of that boat the family will see how much fun it is compared to sitting at a camp site ! Has your family tried camping before? My guess is you'll be back on the water in time.

Yeah chill'n its the pampered type of camping. We've borrowed a motorhome from my parents the past few years to camp while we boat.....But now, they just want to camp with no boating.

My vote was to continue to boat and by a real motor to pull tubes, seek new lakes to enjoy, etc. I got out voted 4-1. I LOSE!

I'll be back though!

If you've never heard this before find it online and listen. I play it for one of my employee's who's x-wife lives in HIS house, sleeps in a separate bed and still runs his life.....

Ladies and Gentle man the man song!

(He's the man, He's the man)
(Crew Laughs)

I don't take no crap from anyone else but you,
I wear the pants around here when im finished with your laundry,
Cause I'm a guy you don't wanna fight,
When I say jump you say, "Yeah Right!"
Im the man of this house until you get home

(He's the man, He's the man)

What I say goes around here right out the window,
And I don't want to hear alot of whining so I'll shut up,
The sooner you learn whos boss around here
The sooner you can give me my orders dear,
Cause I'm head huncho around here but its all in my heeeeaaaadddd!!

(He's the man, He's the man)

And I can have sex any time that you want,
Cause I'm a man who has needs but they're not that important,
And don't expect any flowers from me cause if im not mistaken you perfer jewlery,
I'm the king of my castle when your not around,

(He's the man, He's the man)

And I'll drink and watch sports whenever I want to get in trouble,
And I'll come home when I'm good and ready, to sleep on the couch,
Cause a MAN's gotta do what a MAN's gotta do,
and I'm gonna do what you tell me to,
Because I'm top dog around here but I've been nutered!!

(He's the man, He's the man)

You da man!

Just curious, any reason you couldn't keep your boat... that way whey you all are out camping, while they're sitting at the camp site you can just jump in your toon and enjoy the lake for awhile... doesn't have to be one or the other..... do em both.

You can use the motor home to pull the toon. Then you have the best of both worlds.

Sorry to hear you are trying to sell the toon. But if you do get to keep it and want to take it when you go camping, install a hitch on the front bumper of the RV - will make it much easier to launch the boat unless you have a camera on the back of the RV.
