That is the same lanyard kill switch as the one on our Premier, the lanyard has a ring on the end that slides over the toggle switch, then you flip it to the run position, it will stay put until you pull on the lanyard, then it flips the switch to off and the lanyard slips off the switch.

Well there you go. Ya learn something new every day. I was incorrect about the key switch haveing the "click-in" lanyard, that was on my Suzuki I received near the same time. Looks like I have what you all have:

I'll have to look at mine now and see if there is a way to attach a clip. I would think that would pull right off and not necessarily down..... :donno

Nope...right now the switch is in the OFF position. If you put the ring on it and flip it up, that plastic "top" traps the ring in there. No way it can come out with out shutting down both motors. This switch plugs in to my binnicle control.

Worked on a few other things this weekend when I wasn't eating, eating more, and eating again. Oh, and throwing back a few cold ones trying to ease that train wreck they called a game :drink4

Got my Under Deck LED lighting kit installed:

Snow and cold taking their toll...not sure how much more I can take :storm Ordered a bunch of small parts I need, and did some more pre-wiring. Now that I finaly got moving on this project I want to work on it all the time! I did find a helm, so hopefully I can get that home soon. Fort Wayne boat show is this weekend, and plans the following weekend too will hopefully keep my mind off of it. Who knows, by the second weekend in Feb. they are calling for temps to go above freezing...fingers crossed :prayer

Got my helm :nana

Here I have it all hacked up to fit most of the goodies I need to install. I'm going to give it a coat of paint, the finish is in fair condition and I think I want to contrast the seating any way. HOPEFULLY I'll be able to get some work done to it this weekend :prayer

Is it fiberglass? I was going to buy the big fiberglass console veada sells for my toon, but I want it in grey. My father in law is a painter but he hasn't ever painted fiber glass, what's your process?

Yes, it is Ryan. Painting 'glass is no different really. If it has a good gel coat on it, just scuff it and paint. Really don't even need to prime/seal it. Think about the automotive industry...body parts for years were made from fiberglass, they take paint just fine.
