Hey there,
We do the same thing! We call it "Bench Boating".
These people, around the corner from me, use their boat as a patio out over the water.
They lower it down to dock level and entertain out there. He seldom ever leaves the dock.

I've been known to use mine in other ways than listed already, but that was one of the MAIN reasons to purchase a pontoon, where the front seats fold down to a King size bed.

I think he was looking for out of the ordinary uses. I thought this was a primary reason to get a boat...

I was pondering the idea of opening a floating old fashioned Nevada brothel & serving Bar B Q sandwiches in the slow season.I'll have to sit and drink plenty more beers & think about a good name. This will have to be a non profit small business to off set the cost of boat fuel. :nana Don't rock the boat baby. :smoke

If you have a smart-phone, check out one of the free stargazing apps. I use Google Star Map. Just point your phone toward the sky, like you are taking a picture. On the screen you see an accurate view of the stars/planets/etc, complete with names!

It was.... for me. It just wasn't listed yet, and it may not be some people's ordinary use for a toon. Not nearly as fun/easy on a bowrider, and sorry, no pictures I can share. :smoke

^^^ Can you say bachelor party rental.

You could make some serious coin by hosting small ( 10-12) guy bachelor parties on that thing. I'd be willing to rent my toon out for that, and I'd be happy to drive them along, not drinking, taking in the scenery too. :smoke

Heavy hauler. I can empty the whole front deck of my plastic lawn furniture and move refrigerators, stoves and large women.
